Jackie J – Fashion Inspiration Inc., a jewelry and fashion accessories wholesaler, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. Our fast-growing company seeks an enthusiastic person who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting that favours initiative and a “take-charge” approach, while encouraging teamwork.

We are looking for someone who believes client service is a core value. Being a small business, you will have the opportunity to make a difference on the results by touching several aspects of the business.

Our clients are located all over Canada and in parts of the U.S. (a developing market). Our suppliers are located in the Far East, so English is essential. Our office and showroom are in the St-Henri neighbourhood, close to the Lachine Canal.
Job duties are as follows:

– Supervision of the Logistics Clerk
– Order preparation, verification and shipment
– Receive all merchandise
o Finished products, samples, packaging
o Quality control for items received
o Maintain inventory of related products (bags, earring backs, etc.)
– Organize inventory section
– Ship orders (Fedex-Planet Courier) and other items (jewelry cards) to clients or suppliers
– Create bar codes for products
– Maintain inventories and process orders for branded cards
– Prepare commercial invoices (shipments outside of Canada)
– Track shipping costs
– Track shipments
– Responsible for showroom
– Prepare for trade shows
– And all other related tasks that will allow us to increase sales

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate should have relevant experience and be:

– Resourceful
– Well organized
– Detail-oriented
– Able to work under pressure

SKILLS
Logistics experience (an asset)
French (an asset)
QuickBooks accounting software (an asset)
Microsoft Office

Full-time position – 37.5 hours per week $36 000– possibility of bonuses
