Accountabilities
This role is part of a collaborative and innovative Engineering team under the leadership of a dedicated Senior Software & Electrical Technical Lead.

Qualifications and Attributes
The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications and personal attributes to the role:
Embedded Software Knowledge
· 5+ years of related embedded software experience
· Demonstrated expertise in programming using C and C++
· Working knowledge of electronics hardware design, both analog and digital
· Valued experience beyond minimum requirements would be knowledge of ARM, Freescale and Atmel micro-controller architecture as well as experience in embedded Linux BSP development, Eclipse, GCC including other components of the GNU toolchain, and developing in a RTOS with embedded graphics libraries
Relevant Workplace Experience
· Knowledge of PCB design and component selection
· Sound understanding of electrical design
· Experience programming for micro-controllers and supporting PC applications
· Revision control discipline

· Strong communication skills including active listening and clear messaging
· Builds strong relationships with co-workers based on trust and accountability
· Deals with all stakeholders including colleagues, customers and suppliers with integrity and respect

Salary: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
