Altitude Healthcare Services Looking for Health Care Aide at Kamloops, BC Full Time

Altitude Healthcare is a staffing agency that supports Long Term Care (LTC) homes and hospitals who are experiencing staffing shortages. Our staffing strategy is built for long-term growth and sustainability. We are currently looking for Health Care Aides to join our dedicated, caring and energetic team of support staff. Long-term assignments and travel opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:

• Performs personal care and other assigned duties as per the resident’s plan of care while assuring the comfort and safety of the resident

• Documents within a timely manner after care provision in the resident daily record as per their care plan; to be completed before the end of the shift.

• Deals tactfully and respectfully with residents/families/visitors, customer service oriented

• Collaborate with other team members to promote team work and fair distribution of work duties.

• A valid police check for the vulnerable sector.

• TB test within the last 12 months

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• LTC experience is considered an asset

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

• Kamloops, BC: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Canadian HCA Diploma/Certificate (required)
