Gladiator Logistics Inc. is a Land Transportation and Logistics service providers. for over 10 years, we’ve been providing our clients with reliable and efficient trucking services. Be it local drayage, highway loads, project and heavy haul cargo, or even cross border trucking, if it needs to be moved over the road, we can do it!

Our team is growing and we’re looking for an entry level Jr. Dispatch and Customer Service Coordinator. In this role, you will report to the Dispatch Manager and work closely with our Drivers to track movements, update them of job information and efficiently schedule routines and routes for Drivers. You will also work closely with Business Development Managers to provide their customers with up to date and accurate tracking information on respective loads.

This is an entry level role and we welcome students to apply as well!

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch for up to 10 trucks
• Provide drivers with all required information to execute loads
• Efficiently manage truck and driver movement to avoid any “wasted driving”. Minimize driver delays and lay overs.
• Work with the Dispatch Manager to go through load boards to find loads as required
• Provide customers with tracking and updates on their loads when requested.
• Collect and maintain documentation for all loads.
• Work on both city and highway dispatch.
• Any Administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Post Secondary Education (current students may apply)

· Experience in the Trucking and/or Transportation industry preferred

· Proven proficiency in MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, and Word are a must

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

· Strong problem solving and decision making skills

· Excellent organizational skills to keep track of multiple moving parts (literally!)

· Excellent communication skills

· Bilingual preferred (English and Punjabi)
