Responsibilities
Source lawyer candidates using a variety of methods to build a robust pipeline.
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, abilities , soft skills, experience and aptitudes , based on resume review and phone interviews.
Build applicant channels through strategic use of online job platforms and by developing relationships with law schools, law firms and other organizations in the legal industry.
Design and implement all aspects of a recruiting strategy, including recruitment marketing.
Effectively communicate the Simplex model and value proposition to candidates.
Coordinate with your colleagues on the Simplex business team to determine current and anticipated recruitment needs.
Develop job postings and job description s.
Stay current on recruiting trends and best practices.
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
Prepare analytical reports on the effectiveness of recruiting sources.
Perform reference and background checks.
Qualifications
4 + years of recruiting experience in the legal industry.
Strong sourcing skills with a track record of implementing innovative and effective strategies for sourcing passive candidates.
Prior success in fast- paced, high -growth organizations that required making fast decisions in unstructured environments.
Comprehensive understanding of a range of legal practice areas , and related skill sets.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Excellent organizational and project management skills ; strong attention to detail.
Extensive experience managing multiple candidate sources, including online job boards, social media and industry partnerships.
Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant employment law #LI-DNI
