The purpose of the role is to ensure that all accounts transactions are processed through their customer files, ensuring a correct profit/loss per file in a timely manner, allowing timely closure of files. Working with all Galaxy Team in relation to Finance functions, not limited to but including invoice issue, query resolution of same, incoming voucher processing, monitoring of incoming costs, monitoring of accruals on files, monitoring of GP levels and accurate and timely reporting on overall GP for the control tower.
Invoicing of assigned customers at appropriate rates
Working with AR team to ensure all queries are being answered and cleared in a timely manner
Processing of purchase invoices and intercompany invoices
Ensure all accruals are updated and correctly estimated
Querying and follow up on any incoming cost issues
Ensuring accurate GP declaration on a weekly / monthly basis
Auditing files to ensure they have been invoiced and costed correctly
Following up with overseas offices on incorrectly rated invoices
Reviewing GP trends with Management
Working with companies who provide electronic invoicing solutions for our customers
Analysis of accuracy issues within GP reporting, explaining any prior under or over declarations, working to eliminate these issues where possible
