We are looking for a well-rounded, detailed-oriented individual who has a knowledge of all things cars to join our auto team as a Vehicle Inspector/Technician. The successful candidate will conduct in-depth vehicle damage reviews to determine repair outcomes that best benefit the reconditioning department.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Windshield chip repair
Windshield Pit repair
Glass Tint removal
Secondary Responsibilities:
Examine and evaluate internal and external vehicle damage
Complete diagnostics on vehicle issues and complete minor repairs when required
Determine the scale and scope of repairs needed
Conduct vehicle scans to determine internal diagnostics for system health
Maintain internal automotive repair standards set by the organization and Ontario Safety Standards
Make repair decisions predicated on severity, location and cost of the damage
Transport on-site units to their required locations
Label and categorize vehicles to help expedite the reconditioning process
Desired skills and abilities:
Expert understanding post repair vehicle standards
Keen eye for minor details
Extensive knowledge of vehicle makes, models, costs, and values
Excellent organizational skills
Positive, glass half full mentality
Adaptable to organizational standards for vehicle assessment
