We are looking for Server Assistants to join the Ascari King West Team!
Location: 620 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario
Ascari Hospitality Group is a restaurant and event company based in Toronto and named after 1950’s Formula One racing legend Alberto Ascari (who was equally famous for his appetite as he was for his talented racing).
The group comprises three full-service restaurants – Ascari Enoteca, Ascari King West, Gare de L’Est Brasserie; our boutique wine shop Mercatino E Vini and a full-service events company. Our ethos is entrenched in food, wine, and good people, which is evident in our carefully selected offerings, and genuine hospitality.

Reports to:
General Manager and Assistant General Manager
Requirements
- Support the service and bar team to exceed guest expectations
- Ensure that service stations are fully stocked at all times
- Assist bar staff with polishing glassware as necessary
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently and effectively
- Polish cutlery and plates as necessary
- Run drinks and food with an attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Ensure accurate table and seat numbers are used when delivering food to tables
- Ensure the cleanliness of the dining room and guest bathrooms
- Assist in other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager
- Must have Friday and Saturday evening availability
Qualifications
- At least 1-year server assistant and/or customer service experience
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine is an asset
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues
- Smart Serve Certification is a requirement
