Reporting to the Vice President Operations, Maya is looking for a director to lead the Simulation Services Team and take full ownership of operations and initiatives to maintain, grow and diversify the simulation services business.
What to expect as your main responsibilities:
Drive business growth
Work closely with the sales and pre-sales organization to support new opportunities and ongoing customer relations
Refine offering and engagement models for successful services and support
Develop and lead partner relationships when needed
Maintain a strong working relationship with Siemens
Business performance
Drive team utilization and growth, staffing forecasts
Support software sales efforts when required
Manage operations in support of profitability goals
Drive Maya leadership in customer support metrics
Successful operations
Lead a team of simulation services professionals (performance, development, …)
Drive customer and project success
Ensure services contracts/engagements are clearly defined, staffed, and managed
Guarantee successful project delivery, completion, and customer management/satisfaction
Implement industry best practices, techniques, and standards in the team
Identify and implement process improvements to more efficiently run the business
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering and proven experience in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and Management
8+ years’ experience delivering complex Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering simulation solutions
2+ years’ experience in a leadership position managing engineering professionals
Experience in sales, pre-sales or business development is a strong asset
Experience with diverse CAE simulation software-based solutions is a strong asset

Motion, flexible body
Experience with Siemens CAD and CAE software is an asset
NX, Simcenter 3D, Femap, Nastran, Star-CCM+, Amesim
Position requires strong interpersonal skills, employee and customer management skills, ownership, autonomy, communication skills, and operational problem solving capabilities
Excellent written and oral English; French is an asset
Willingness to occasionally travel locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally
Meet requirements to work with Canadian Controlled Goods or USA ITAR materials
