We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Lead Graphic Designer with a creative approach to design while maintaining consistency to brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
•Oversee packaging artwork ensuring design exemplifies existing brand guidelines, while working
closely with the creative team to ensure design integrity and consistency throughout all
communications;
•Create and lead the visual identity of brands, corporate branding / collateral and confident in giving
direction to the rest of the team;
•Review the workflow between the art department and product design department, ensuring
cohesion and precision for all artwork;
•Generate fresh concepts for various types of projects including packaging design, catalogue layout,
logo design etc.;
•Review graphic designer’s artwork drafts to ensure quality control while providing guidance and
layout ideas;
•Prepare files to meet pre-press, print production and web specifications and timelines;
•File and organize artwork in multiple databases;
•Analyze the department processes and optimize to resolve inefficiencies;
•Bring ideas for new tools or software to enhance productivity and improve overall Art department
output quality.
Skills, Competencies & Requirements:
•Excellent knowledge of English to deal with the foreign divisions;
•Advanced level in Adobe Suite CC (specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
•Basic knowledge of MS Office;
•Experience with a DAM software
•Strong working knowledge of Mac platforms;
•Experience with packaging design;
•Has a working understanding of the use of colors, inks and different paper types and qualities;
•Able to multitask effectively and manage priorities;
•Autonomy, attention to detail and team spirit;
•Strong sense of responsibility;
•Willingness and flexibility to take on special projects and tasks;
•Ability to adapt to a constantly changing and dynamic environment.
Experience:
•Minimum 3+ years of graphic design – specifically print
