We are growing and looking to add an Accounting Specialist to our team!
Responsibilities:
Assist with Accounts Receivable and collections
Assist with POs/Accounts Payable/employee expenses
Responsible for processing and setting up weekly AP payments
Responsible with reviewing of general ledger accounts to ensure accurate postings
Responsible journal entries to ensure all monthly accruals are recorded
Responsible for month end balance sheet reconciliations
Responsible for coordination with operations to ensure financial integrity of data
Respond in a timely manner if the information is not accurate
Adhere to legal, company accounting and financial guidelines
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as may be requested
Qualifications:
Have completed a post-secondary program within accounting or finance
3-5 years’ experience within a similar role
Accounting experience within a construction company is an asset
Experience with Jonas accounting software is an asset
High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
