Advanced Medical Solutions Inc. (AMS) is hiring a full time Human Resources Administrator to join our team. Primary Responsibilities*

  • Recruitment activities, including creating job postings, interview guides, and job descriptions. Posting job advertisements. Conducting pre-screens, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Assist with onboarding, including preparing new hire packages, completing new hire documents & checklists.
  • Assist with offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and complete personnel records.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to advise on employee changes, as necessary.
  • Draft memoranda, correspondence, and other employment documentation.
  • Maintain human resources information and related records systems in compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Stay abreast on compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  • Present a positive and professional image of the organization when interacting with employees, clients/customers, visitors, and other external stakeholders.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in a diverse and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of applicable employment legislation, and the ability to read and interpret legislation.
  • Strong sense of ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.

Education and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Business Administration with an HR major, or a related Bachelor with a Human Resources major is required. New graduates or soon to be graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience is an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of administration experience is an asset.
