What you will do:
Ensure safety program is in place for all sites, with a focus on delivering world class results.
Develop strategy for multiple sites across Canada to achieve annual goals.
Develop and execute plans to ensure customer experience is improved.
Meet targets set out in financial plan for the region.
Coach and mentor Managers and Supervisors to enable growth and build supply chain excellence.
Manage 3PL Relationships including setting agenda, expectation and KPI adherence goals to ensure results.
Engage and drive continuous improvement initiatives at all buildings to remove losses.
Establish a TPM Culture to improve efficiencies, safety and 5S environment.
Direct inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, order processing and customer service. Ensure accuracy of inventory levels and cycle counts
Analyze and report data to identify opportunities to achieve established objectives.
Advise management on logistics innovations that will improve performance and make logistics a competitive advantage.
Be a champion of change management.
Identify opportunities to understand root causes and improve results.
Ensure all reports are developed to fulfill expectations of their duties including setting objectives for cross-training and ensuring key reports have a successor.
Develop engagement plan with Team Members to increase satisfaction and results.
Focus on meeting/exceeding measured standards, i.e., improve cost and service performance through Logistics activities including aspects of inventory control, service levels, warehousing, warehouse space, transportation, logistics planning, order processing, delivery execution and exception management.
Position Details:
Position will be based out of Mississauga with some opportunity to work remotely based on business need
Occasional travel to various sites across Canada will be required (anticipated to be 1 to 2 times a year based on business need)
Some travel to the US for training/meetings will be required
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or Transportation
7 years of Logistics experience
3 to 5 years supervisory and process improvement experience
Experience managing multiple warehouses and overseeing 3PL partnerships
Demonstrated leadership, communication, tactical and strategic thinking skills
Experience with WMS
Proof of Covid-19 vaccination will be a condition of employment
Ability to travel to the US for training/meetings

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in TPM, Lean, and/or 5S
SAP Experience
CSCP Certification
Six sigma black belt
Experience in a related industry (food/ beverage, health and hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, etc.) and managing a complex chemical supply chain
Experience with export shipments, DOT 49 CFR compliance and experience in other related functional areas, including Distribution, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Compliance, Regulatory and HR.
