ROLE:
Use your project management and marketing expertise to support the execution of integrated website design and marketing campaigns. In this client-facing project management role, you will provide accountability on digital agency projects for employees, vendors, and agency clients by following up on projects, managing expectations, coordinating and recording meeting minutes, and ensuring projects are completed within the timeline, scope, and budget allotted. If project delays or stoppages are anticipated, this individual will implement processes and prepare contingencies to complete their tasks, figure out what’s holding up projects, and ensure that clients’ goals and project scope requirements are met.
This individual will be detail-oriented and task-focused to keep projects on time, budget, and scope and ensure all clients are happy.
Duties:
Coordinate and oversee digital projects and lead a cross-functional team involving internal staff, designers, coding team, and external vendors.
Use the project management systems (Slack.com and Clickup.com) to create, maintain, and track project plans for each project, including prioritization and delivery deadlines, and communicate any risks to appropriate individuals.
Conduct and manage project kickoff meetings, gathering the required information, and daily status and accountability meetings
Form strong working relationships with team members in all departments throughout the organization to complete projects on scope, schedule, and budget
Develop and maintain solid client relationships including communication with clients, partners, and outside agencies regarding project details, budget, expectations, deliverables, and timelines including pro-actively providing concepts to clients, obtaining feedback, and translating that feedback for the project team.
Possess strong digital project management skills, being well organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Communicate with the agency’s production team and clients on project status, updates, etc.
Assign tasks, goals, and timelines on new tasks or project requests to appropriate resources based on digital expertise, timeline, and deliverables requested.
Prepare meeting agendas before all client calls with all action items that were supposed to be completed and all notes from previous meetings ready to go prior to the meeting or recurring meeting before it happens. On average we meet with our clients weekly or bi-monthly.
Manage projects: set up projects on internal systems, set client expectations, assign and set task priorities, establish a timeline, etc; ensure all projects are delivered on time or before deadlines and produce great projects and happy clients.
Keep detailed records regarding project status and client communications to effectively manage all projects and be in communication with management, team members, and clients between meetings via email, phone, or video communications, etc.
Ability to work as a technical lead that provides a level of effort, timelines, expectation levels, etc…
Review Google Analytics to gain awareness of asset performance
Analyze and create reports to track progress, issues, bottlenecks, insufficiencies, etc.
Continually look for ways to improve processes and use of available design and marketing projects
Use business acumen and knowledge of website design and marketing processes and best practices to ensure high-quality output
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details
Coordinate and oversee digital projects and lead a cross-functional team involving internal staff, writers, marketers, designers, coding team, and external vendors.
Keep detailed records regarding project status and client communications to effectively manage all projects and be in communication with management, team members, and clients between meetings via email, phone, or video communications, etc.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
3+ years of digital project management experience
Bachelor’s degree
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate efficiently, and set priorities and expectations
Experience supporting complex integrated marketing campaigns
Experience using project management/workflow tools such as Teamwork.com
Superior attention to detail, results-oriented, and demonstrated track record of proactively establishing and following through on commitments
Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, problem-solving, and influence
Must have a passion to grow from within the company and be tenacious and take leadership/ownership in his or her role.
Must be eager to grow and learn about the industry and be ready to be tenacious in dominating the digital marketing agency space, digital strategy, and consulting services arena.
Must be creative and open to express creative thoughts in their own strategy and implementation as well as breakthroughs for our agency clients on all levels of the project and sales funnel.
Recommended Skills/Qualifications:
Experience working collaboratively with creative and technical teams (designers creating websites, digital media, content, graphics, video, etc.)
Compensation:
Compensation for this role will be dependent on experience
Compensation will be provided on a bi-weekly basis
