We’re looking for a Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability.
Your day-to-day might consist of the following:
– Accounts Payable/Ordering
– Responsible for Hiring/terminating related activities from strategy to execution in job descriptions.
– Ensure that budget is available for request.
– Ensure received only what was ordered.
– Responsible to ensure company funding is sufficient for corporate project needs and/or initiatives.
– Responsible to ensure company is in compliance with all fiduciary responsibilities for government/financial institutions.
– Employee Expenses
– Oversee policy – scope outlining acceptable expenses on expense report.
– Review and approval of employee expenses.
– Ensure employee is paid accordingly.
– Accounts Receivable/Sales
– Review of sales purchase order attached to proposal to ensure alignment.
– Ensure invoicing of milestone achievements is complete.
– Payroll
– Processing – Overseeing processing of payroll, payment to employee/government compliance.
– Policy – Scope outlining acceptable time on time report.
– Financial Reporting
– Develop administrative budgets and forecasts and provide adjustments to forecast.
– Government reporting – Year end source, tax returns, compliance.
– Responsible for financial reporting including corporate financial profits and project reporting.
– Finance Administration
– Develop, manage, and adjust all admin related processes with continuous improvement to those processes.
– Mentor, train and hire/terminate all admin staff as it relates to accounting.
We are looking for someone who can meet the following requirements:
– University Degree in Accounting
– Proven experience in finance management.
– Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
– Compliance oriented.
– Proficient in accounting software.
– Auditing experience.
– Analytical skills.
