Michael Page CA Looking for Site Superintendent – Residential High Rise Construction at Mississauga, ON Full Time

Supervise the work in the field, including organization, planning, scheduling to complete the work on time within budget and to the correct quality.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing on site plans and procedures for field operations
• Coordinating and monitoring the activities of subs, supplies and labor materials
• Creating and updating progress schedules
• Preparing regular job reports for job meetings
• Making sure the job is completed on time and under budget
• Provide full time on-site supervision
• Communicate scope of work requirements to foremen, review production, quality and contract compliance and ensure implementation
• Schedule, monitor and supervise all subcontractor work quality and production levels to ensure the highest standards are achieved

A successful candidate will possess the following:

• A Construction related degree and 8 to 10 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on large commercial or residential projects
• Experience being the Lead or Senior most Superintendent on high-rise projects for at least 5 years
• An advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings
• Demonstrated success of completing a large-scale project from start to finish
• Ability to be a team player, leader and mentor
