Responsibilities / Responsabilités:
Be a trusted advisor to employees and management on policies, employee issues, performance, culture and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial labor laws
Coordinate new hire orientation and on-boarding duties with Coordinator, People & Culture
Oversee the performance management process, train employees on the appraisal process on a timely basis
Conduct exit interviews with exiting employees
Manage disability claims and liaises with third party provider
Maintain current knowledge of market trends, legal requirements, and administration of Human Resources policies
Build effective relationships with all areas of the business
Maintain employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential
Ensure that all HR records in accordance with compliance laws and policies are properly maintained
Collaborate across the people community to guide processes for seamless People programs, employee development (L&D) and candidate experience.
Be a culture champion in support of a ‘people first’ vision
Work closely with and assist the Head of our People & Culture team with other HR duties and functions
Work closely with Finance and the business leads in assessing resource utilization and proactively plan programs to address talent gaps
Partner with Payroll, Benefits & HRIS to ensure data integrity and timely execution
Assist with recruitment efforts
Qualifications :
4+ years of HR experience
Some experience or familiarity with SAP
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Excellent judgment coupled with a high degree of integrity and trust
The ability to always maintain confidentiality and discretion
Knowledge and experience working in a creative environment an asset
Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications
(MSWord, Excel , PowerPoint)
Team player and team builder who enjoys/excels at motivating and developing the potential of others
A proactive, enthusiastic individual with a customer service attitude/orientation
Achievement orientation—a desire to initiate positive change on an ongoing basis
An interest in learning, with the desire to expand your professional HR skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility
