Krahn Engineering is looking for a Junior IT Support to provide technical support to our Vancouver and Abbotsford offices. The role will require travelling when necessary to the Abbotsford office. The position is part time, and it is not a remote work position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Diagnosing problems and providing solutions by contacting the end user by telephone, chat, and onsite
• Technical support for Microsoft Office suite, printing, installing software and software updates for a variety of products (Bluebeam, Autodesk, CSI)
• Troubleshooting and resolution of end-user technology (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, access) issues and escalating when required
• Installing new computers, upgrading older computers (memory, hard drive, video card, power supply)
• Keep track of inventory
• other duties; quarterly company car maintenance.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Good soft skills. Emotional intelligence
• A+ certification
• Windows 10 and Windows 11 technical skills
• Skill in using search engines to quickly find useful information on the internet (Google-fu)
• A valid driver`s license is mandatory for this role
• Experience with SharePoint, OneDrive and other Office 365 would be an asset
• Proven ability to problem–solve
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload
