Randstad Looking for Production Supervisor – Day and Afternoon – Concord at Concord, ON Full Time

Assisting in the full cycle manufacturing process, the successful candidate will be able to guide, support, and lead staff while meeting customer requirements and expectations.

• Administer and assign activities to production employees, schedule shifts, conduct disciplinary action, participate in performance reviews.
• Review customer order requirements for production. Consider production levels to determine priority
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance department, and tool room management to minimize downtime.
• Promote continuous improvement activities

Responsibilities
In this production supervisor role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Identify training opportunities for team members
• Ensure productivity targets are attained by monitoring performance against targets. Effectively establish performance plans if targets are not being met.

– Maintain a safe working environment – be comfortable completing accident investigations

• Administer and assign activities to production employees, schedule shifts, conduct disciplinary action, participate in performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Must posses a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must posses basic computer skills and literacy
• Ability to lead a team, posses problem solving skills, conflict resolution, and sound decision making
• Excellent communication Skills verbal and written
• Ideally 2-3 years in a supervisor/lead role (automotive industry preferred)
