Non-profit society opening childcare in Duncan in Jan /Feb 2023, on school grounds and looking for a mature fun ECE teacher to join our team.
Applicants must have childcare experience and hold a valid ECE license. Wage will depend on childcare/management experience. Must pass criminal check and have current First Aid certificate.
· Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times
- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
- provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with facility manager
- Model good hygeine habits and participate in daily cleaning schedule
- Likes to have fun with the children
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
