Launch new field service, repair and parts campaigns into market and support customer marketing initiatives.
Investigates competitor activities and conducts relevant market research that enables market competitiveness.
Maintain installed base date on OE, parts to establish key opportunities for increased service, repair and parts revenue.
Monitor parts inventory levels to ensure proper stocking based on factory recommended LCM models and installed base knowledge.
Coach and mentor field service, repair, and parts resources to develop not only technical skill but soft skills and business acumen to support continuous succession planning.
Ensure site safety requirements, building and equipment maintenance are maintained for continued improvement and expansions.
Builds a strong health and safety focus amongst team members and strives for zero harm.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Trades with a minimum of five (5) years service and sales experience with Mining OE, parts and minimum of three (3) years leadership experience
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate others to achieve outcomes
Strong knowledge of the underground mining industry and mining operations through direct experience servicing mining customers.
Strong drive for customer satisfaction
Strong project management, planning and organization skills
Strong negotiation skills to drive sales and contracts
Excellent analysis and problem-solving ability
High energy with a sense of urgency in job responsibility
Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team
Strong business acumen and attention to detail
Ability to develop knowledge of customer business processes
Excellent customer relations and active listening skills
Ability to interpret financial statements
Computer Literacy including MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to speak with production workers to customer management
Ability to travel frequently (40%) across North America
Ability to work underground
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
