This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a small family business located in Ottawa, Ontario that operates retirement homes across the province. We are looking for a dedicated individual with administrative experience in the retirement living sector who will assist with daily office/administrative tasks.
Employment Terms:
1. $18.00/hr, 4 to 5 days per week (30 to 37.5 hours)
2. Flexible work hours
3. Remote work environment (ability to work from home)
4. Must be located in the Ottawa Area
5. Bilingual (asset)
Primary Responsibilities
1. Payroll & Scheduling review
2. Assist with recruiting, hiring & employee onboarding for all homes
3. Policy & Procedure review/updates to maintain compliance with governing bodies
4. Assist with program applications
5. Prepare rent increase forms for all homes
6. Attend general meetings as requested
7. Other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office products
2. Ability to communicate in French and English, both written and orally
3. Knowledge of IT
4. Good verbal & written communication skills
5. Ability to complete payroll & schedules
6. Good organizational qualities
7. Flexible on work hours
8. Task oriented
9. Familiar with Zoom/Teams other conferencing products
