PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
Provide forward-looking financial leadership for the organization. Oversee all budgeting, accounting, and financial activities to ensure efficiency of processing, accuracy of financial information, consistent service delivery and achievement of financial objections.
Canadian entity, private equity owned.
DETAILED DUTIES
· Review monthly financial results with CEO and distribute to corporate office.
· Review monthly results of Operations with management to include variance to budget/forecast/historical trends and business ratios.
· Control cash management and cash flow via optimization of collection of customer accounts and payment of vendor accounts.
· Develop and enforce procedures and controls to ensure all company assets are safeguarded.
· Responsible for preparation of annual divisional audit schedule package for external audit team. Direct liaison with auditors to supply information for consolidation of Financial Statements at a corporate level.
· Participate in budgeting and business planning to facilitate divisional compliance to corporate objectives.
· Provide proposals for improving financial processes, policies, and procedures.
· Work collaboratively with managers on cost savings and improved efficiency initiatives.
· Managing day-to-day finance functions in division; including A/P, A/R, Payroll, financial statement preparation, Standard cost, and customer quotations.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
· Professional certification is require – CPA
· Manage all Finance Functions
· Salary is negoitable
· Strong ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and manage time.
· Attention to detail, analytical mindset, problem solving ability, and the ability to deal with all levels of internal and external contacts.
· Effective presentation, oral and written communication skills.
· Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
