This role fosters and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with PHSA Executives across the organization, and with senior management at other Health Authorities, MoH and other Government agencies.

Qualifications:
A professional accounting designation (CA, CGA or CMA) preferably combined with a Master’s Degree in Business, Leadership or other relevant field, plus at least fifteen (15) years of relevant senior finance management experience within a large complex multi-site organization in a position with increasing leadership responsibility, including experience with strategic planning, financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, resource allocation methodology, funding model, activity base costing, pay for performance model, key indicators and performance measurement, project management, leadership development, systems design and development, change management and organizational development.
Demonstrated track record of effective leadership in complex, multi-billion dollar, multi-site environment. Awareness of legislation and government directives relating to financial management practices. Demonstrated ability to interact with senior executives and be a key member of a senior finance management team. In depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial policies, legislation, financial and management systems and processes relevant to major public sector organizations. Understands the inner workings of large organizations, government, the MoH, the Health Authorities and related organizations in terms of structure, process and key players. Demonstrated ability to advance strategic finance initiatives, manage people and financial resources in a timely manner, and lead in times of fiscal restraint. Superior interpersonal, communication, facilitation and leadership skills including the ability to negotiate with and influence others, both internal and external to the organization at various levels. Demonstrated aptitude for progressive, innovative thinking. Collaborative leadership skills in working with others to identify issues, design creative solutions, follow-up with action and evaluate results. Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
