Reporting to the Manager, Data Collection and Central, North Zone, this position provides confidential secretarial and operational support to the Health Information Management Leadership team. Is responsible for providing complex administrative office support and is expected to ensure the effective and efficient performance of a wide scope of administrative responsibilities. The incumbent is required to coordinate or perform various office duties including interaction with internal/ external contacts through the telephone, electronic media, or in person, compiling and formatting routine environmental studies, collection of timesheets, document filing, ordering office supplies, and working with scheduling software. The incumbent uses extensive independent judgment to successfully complete projects under tight timelines, changing or competing priorities, or with frequent interruptions. The incumbent also demonstrates a high productivity and awareness of confidentiality within a unionized healthcare environment.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of recognized post-secondary Secretarial or Office Administration program. Minimum 2-3 years Administrative experience in a related environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office package, MS Word, Excel Must be proficient in the use of Windows Typing 60 wpm required. Proven ability to be discrete, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Proven ability to work in a complex multi-disciplinary environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work with minimum supervision, self-motivated.
