We are currently recruiting for a full time:

Quality, Risk and Organizational Development Specialist

Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, and in consultation with the Leadership Team, the Quality, Risk and Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for a range of centralized operations related to accountability and planning with a focus on quality (accreditation, quality improvement, client records, privacy, accessibility), risk management (risk, client safety, research, ethics) and organizational growth and development. Developing and implementing a Centre wide framework, the Quality, Risk and Organizational Development Specialist will establish and support processes to monitor service quality, organizational functioning and client outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Master’s level degree (or equivalent) with a focus on business, health, or health administration
• Regulated health professional preferred, with membership in applicable college as appropriate
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading and managing teams in a similar role
• Experience in a pediatric or children’s rehabilitation Centre considered an asset.
• Experience in a not-for-profit or public sector organization considered an asset.
• Experience in accreditation or quality assurance measures considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability in program planning and evaluation, developing implementation schedules, facilitating and coordinating project teams, developing new materials for training and information.
• Knowledge of Quality, Risk and Improvement tools and processes, and ability to develop indicators and controls.
• LEAN certification and Project Management or Change Management designation considered an asset.
• Superior skills in working with software applications such as databases, spreadsheets and statistical tools to analyse information.

The successful candidate must be available to work flexible hours, must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and maintain adequate liability insurance or must have ongoing access to a vehicle and driver for Pathways business. A Police Vulnerable Sector Check is required along with proof of applicable vaccinations/ immunizations.
