Lead Stop Specialists is a full-service contracting and hazardous materials remediation company handling all types of residential and commercial renovations. We are looking for an experienced Construction Lead Hand to join our growing team! Worksites are across Simcoe. We offer competitive compensation based on previous applicable experience.
CONSTRUCTION LEAD HAND
We are looking for an experienced candidate who has demonstrated leadership skills, initiative and drive, is a team player with a positive attitude and great communication skills.
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
- Ability to read and interpret and follow various division drawings (architectural, structural etc)
- Ability to instruct crew and provide tasks for the day if Site Supervisor is called to another job site
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads and navigate construction job site terrain
- Assessing regular material and labour requirements
- Training, leading, and encouraging the learning co-workers when working in team on site
- Demolition and remodelling experience
- Provide additional assistance where needed and/or requested.
- Maintain tool and equipment organization security and safety, excellent housekeeping and safety conscious
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Attention to detail and passion for quality work
- Coordinate and communicate with others to support effectively in order to complete the required work
- Own Vehicle, Class G License, Own CSA Type II Hard Hat and Green Patch Safety Shoes
- 5 years of construction experience minimum is required, minimum 2 years leading a crew, more considered an asset

Salary: $27.00-$34.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Experience:
- construction: 5 years (required)
- Construction Lead Hand/Team Lead: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence and Access to a Reliable Vehicle (required)
