Work Description
The Director, Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of HR programs for the Taggart Group of Companies. Specifically, the Director, HR will have oversight of recruitment, employee onboarding and offboarding, employee retention, employee engagement, leadership and employee development, talent management, compensation, employee and labour relations, compliance, as well as policy creation. Other areas of responsibility and oversight include change management, corporate communications, office management, and health and safety for some companies. The Director, Human Resources provides strategic leadership by articulating the services that HR can provide for each business unit and driving programming and change within those business units. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality approach to all employees, prospective employees, managers, and suppliers. Discretion, sound judgement, care, and confidentiality are paramount to this role. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Taggart Group of Companies vision, mission, and must comply with all company policies and procedures.
