Wilride Transport Ltd. based in Guelph,ON is looking for an enthusiastic,results driven, experienced Third Party Logistics Dispatcher.
The ideal candidate will be committed to achieving optimal levels of service engagement between our partner carriers, our customers and the Wilride Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating carrier options and arranging the movement and brokerage of freight (both FTL & LTL) for our customers while ensuring service quality metrics are achieved. With total customer satisfaction as our ultimate goal, our team works to link communication, freight solutions and action between all parties. The right candidate will have PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A HIGH PACED FREIGHT BROKERAGE ROLE and experience with quoting and booking heavy freight volumes (25-40 plus loads a day).
The ideal candidate will also bring a current group of partner carriers that they have worked with in the past to help ensure customers freight is quoted and moved efficiently and affordably. If you are highly motivated, a self-producer, are customer service orientated and have experience in transportation brokerage, you are exactly who we’re looking for.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Broker the freight offerings of Wilride Transport Ltd and their customers
- Develop existing and new partner carrier relationships
- Ensure expected profit margin targets are met
- Manage high call and email volumes focusing on detail, accuracy and efficiency
- Track and trace brokered orders until completion
- Communicate with customers and carriers in a timely manner
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience brokering truckload & less than truckload services in a high volume/high paced brokerage setting is a requirement
- A Post Secondary College or University degree/diploma preferred
- Possess exceptional negotiation skills
- Must be self-motivated and energetic
- Excels in fast-paced environment
