DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes and maintains record keeping and filing system.
Types, formats and produces documents such as proposals, presentations, correspondence and lender reports.
May perform administrative duties specific to department such as, conducting research, updating databases, requesting invoices, and pulling credit reports.
Assist with funding/closing new loans; including tracking missing items, reviewing third party reports, working with lender on outstanding items, and communicating with clients and broker.
Maintains calendar and contact database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare basic marketing material for internal and external platforms, with the assistance of the team.
Assists producer(s) in day-to-day responsibilities which include packaging, lender due diligence, negotiation process, commitment process and closing process.
Able to work outside regular work hours, if required.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Commercial real estate industry knowledge preferred.
Sales or marketing experience would be beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Real Estate, Economics or Commerce.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Proficient in Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
