Canary District Animal Hospital is a new, progressive and privately owned clinic in the downtown core of Toronto. Our hospital provides top notch care to clients and their pets and our doctors all have backgrounds in general and ER medicine. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Animal Care Attendant to join our team on a full time basis, no weekends or holidays. This new team member would assist both veterinarians and technicians, would partake in cleaning/maintenance of the hospital and its equipment (along with the other team members), be responsible for animal husbandry and set up for surgeries and procedures.
Our hospital is equipped with:
- Full in-house Idexx diagnostics
- Digital Idexx radiology
- Digital Dental radiology
Qualities and skills we are looking for in a candidate:
- Experience working in an animal hospital
- Capable of both feline and canine restraint
- Willingness to learn new skills
- A team player
- Comfortable with client communication
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Organized and efficient
- Friendly and fun
