Your Role
As an expert in this area you will lead exciting large scale power infrastructure projects specific to Transmission and Distribution. Our team is part of bringing meaningful change by assisting communities gain access to housing, education and healthcare where people live, as well as delivering clean drinking water, and fostering opportunities for economic participation and environmental stewardship.
You will be part of a team delivering large transmission projects.
Planning, coordinating and progress reporting of project management activities including financial, schedule, communications, procurement, risk and issues through duration of project.
Preparing reports and presentations for the client and senior leadership.
Liaise with clients and stakeholders, funding partners, design and construction professionals to plan and implement capital building projects.
Use your technical knowledge in project planning, design and construction to resolve complex project challenges.
A university degree in electrical, mechanical, geotechnical, or civil engineering.
3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination and management of transmission projects.
Strong knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law and relevant legislation.
Professional industry credentials such as PMP and P.Eng.
A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with local and regional teams
Able to manage multidisciplinary teams, construction management, and commissioning in transmission projects.
