Drake International is currently looking for at Logistics Coordinator with experience our client in the Logistics Industry.
What we offer:
- Reports To: Manager National Freight
- Pay Rate: $23/hr. + 4% vacation pay.
- Shift: Monday – Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm.
- Location: M9W 0C1
- Start Date: ASAP for a 3-month contract with possibility of extension
What you do:
- CLI Portal Reporting
- Load-Unload and Start-End Reporting
- Status update of all Arrivals and Departures
- Maintain communication with all drivers, shunters, LHC and carriers.
- Control and establish accurate arrival & departure times of all linehaul units (TMS data entry and follow up).
- Liaison between management, lead hands, shunters, carriers, drivers, other depots / facilities and Linehaul control
- Act as central communication point and lead communication with network team.
- Liaison between advice carriers, management, shunters, drivers, Linehaul control of issues/problems and maintain progress reports (includes delay communication and plans for inbound and outbound linehauls).
- Engage management, sales, and customer service to communicate any delays and aid in recovery actions.
- Maintaining communication with Ground Linehaul & the Hub Control Room
- Other duties as assigned.
Who are you:
- Logistics – knowledge of shipping procedures (administration/order scheduling/customer inquiries)
- Trucking/Transportation Experience would be an asset.
- Worked with Transportation Management system (CLI)
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel (macros and formulas)
- Good Customer Service skills (communication via telephone and email)
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent aptitude with numbers
- Strong motivational ability
- Must be a TEAM Player.
- Must be fully Vaccinated
- Must Pass a Crim check
