Job Description

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;
- Perform preventative maintenance on required equipment and scheduled work as required
- Manage assigned work orders in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment in a manufacturing plant
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnect
- Work with automated equipment
- Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics
- Organize work area, tools and parts
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician designation
- Previous maintenance experience in an industrial plant/manufacturing setting is an asset
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley AC Drives, ControlLogix PLC, Relay Logic skills is an asset
- Knowledge of relevant electrical safety codes
- Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters
- Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing and testing PLC automated circuit, motors and motor control circuits
- Must be able to learn computer-based maintenance software
- Must possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities
- Must be able to work in a team setting with other tradesman
