Greenstone Mine is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry and supporting administrative activities related to accounts payable, vendor management, banking, electronic filing and other duties as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Process invoices for payment in ERP
Verification and support documentation on payment runs
Support the accounts payable function including scanning and document filing
Assist with the preparation of various reports as required
Assist with the preparation of procedural documentation
Government filings
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Able to build and maintain productive working relationships
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Diploma in Business, Accounting or related field and / or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience, preferably in an accounting environment.
Knowledge of accounting and/or cost control systems
Experience with SAP would be asset
LOCATION
This position will be based in Geraldton, Ontario, on a rotational basis.
Greenstone Mine provides company transportation from multiple pick-up point locations.
