We are looking to hire a Graphic Designer. Someone who is familiar with a variety of graphic softwares, comfortable with design, and the overall layout and production process for signage and vehicle wraps.
Full Job Description
- Education: College/CEGEP or other sufficient certification
Softwares
- InDesign
- Adobe Suite
- Adobe Illustrator
- Flexi sign
- Photoshop
Tasks
- Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print
- Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
- Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
- Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients’ objectives
- Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
- Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
- Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
Personal Requirements:
- Quality oriented with a good eye for detail and measurements
- Must be able to operate projects independently
- Must be dependable, accountable, trustworthy, hard-working and self-motivated, as well as possessive of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must hold valid BC drivers license and clean driving record
- Time oriented (will deal with tight deadlines)
- English lanaguage proficiency
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: One location
