FELLFAB Looking for Supply Chain Manager at Hamilton, ON Full Time

With 70 years of experience and three manufacturing facilities in North America, FELLFAB® is an industry leader providing engineered solutions using textile related products to many critical and demanding markets including Aerospace, Defense, Rail and Industrial.
FELLFAB®* is currently searching for a *Supply Chain Manager* to join its Team in Hamilton.*
Reporting directly to the VP, Finance, the incumbent is responsible for all aspect of procurement including purchasing, transportation & logistics, supplier relationships, inventory levels, contract negotiations and purchasing administration.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Management of the Purchasing Dept for FELLFAB® group of companies;
• Source required products and services on a competitive basis;
• Expedite orders to ensure delivery is timely;
• Establish and maintain supplier listings, evaluate capabilities and develop specifications;
• Participate in vendor audits;
• Develop material supply plan to meet customer needs as identified by sales & production;
• Ensure FELLFAB® meets custom/traffic requirements at least cost by negotiating inbound/outbound freight contracts;
• Ensure all aspects of the company environmental plan are adhered to.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education and/or College Diploma in Materials Management or other business-related field along with five years purchasing management experience within a manufacturing environment. Additional experience: contract negotiations & cost reduction initiatives; good understanding of material lead times; sourcing and developing new suppliers for raw materials, products & services; NAFTA, customs & transportation; test data and certification procedures.
