Reporting to the Manager, Analytics, the Workforce Reporting Analyst ensures accurate and timely data extraction, data management, analytics, synthesis, interpretation, and tailored audience-specific reporting of workforce data. The position supports and enhances the use of evidence based decision making at all levels through the provision of information and analytics. They liaise with key stakeholders to clarify data needs and requests, and completes data extraction, data management, synthesis, analytics, and reports from workforce information systems as well as other internal and external sources of data and information. The Workforce Reporting Analyst plays a key role in operational service delivery by ensuring that each centre of excellence in People Services has the information to provide responsive, accurate, and consistent services in carrying out their policies and programs.
The Reporting Analyst applies a broad base of business and system knowledge and experience in providing support for the development, implementation and monitoring of workforce strategic and operational performance measurement. This involves assessing information needs, investigating and assessing the usefulness and feasibility of proposed measures and potential data collection processes. They make recommendations for future measurement and evaluation initiatives. The position provides support in development and implementation of Workforce & People Services strategies through the monitoring and synthesis of data from workforce systems, analysis and reporting of data for specific measures, and helping staff to better understand workforce data and workforce management.

$33.08 – $41.35 hourly
