About the Role:

In addition to being the first point of contact for all clients and customers, the Receptionist is responsible for other administrative and clerical tasks which are critical to the success of the company.

Essential Functions
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voice mail when needed
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
  • Update company contact list
  • Receive, sort and route mail
  • Maintain and operate office machines
  • Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary
  • Order office supplies
  • Miscellaneous data entry/word processing
  • Ongoing upkeep and organization of the office entryway to ensure a clean and presentable area at all times
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned

About You:


Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an office setting
  • High school diploma or GED

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Practical administrative experience
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Salary
    Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
