Senior IT Infrastructure and Applications Performance Monitoring Specialist
Contract – 6 months to 1 year and with multiple extensions

Our client, a regional services organization in the Province of Ontario is looking to a hire an IT Infrastructure and Applications Performance Monitoring Specialist.
Key Job Profile
· Install, configure and maintain software tools used for performance and availability monitoring and alerting, in support of enterprise business applications and services.
· Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain performance monitoring agents and scripts.
· Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve issues impacting business service performance or availability.
· Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to maintain an accurate and comprehensive database of IT configuration items.
Key Knowledge and Technical Experience
The successful candidate must have senior level experience working on the following technologies and environment :
o SolarWinds VM320
o SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor ALX
o SolarWinds VoIP and Network Quality Manager IP SLA 50, IP Phone 3000
o SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor SLX
o Rapid7’s InsightIDR
o Cisco based network (LAN, WAN & WLAN);
o Microsoft Windows server, Windows RADIUS, AD, DC, DFS;
o Infoblox DHCP & DNS.
o Pure storage; Dell EMC Isilon storage.
o Dell Avamar Data protection
o Live Action
o Zabbic
o Dynatrace
o Extrahop
o NetScout
o Riverbed
o Viavi
o Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 6-12 months
Pay: $80.00-$90.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
