Kin Lab Looking for Experienced Kinesiologist at Vancouver, BC Full Time

Registered Kinesiologist (contract) – Vancouver (Kitsilano and Chinatown)

Kin Lab is comprised of a group of Kinesiologists dedicated to encourage, educate, and empower patients on their road to recovery. We are looking for talented Kinesiologists to join our team who is committed to excellent patient care and dedicated to professional development. In this role, the Kinesiologist’s primary focus is to provide performance and rehab services and case management for patients.

We are hiring for our Vancouver Kitsilano and Chinatown locations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective exercise prescription in a 1-1 setting at gym partner locations
• Conduct functional assessments and reports
• Schedule appointments, keep up-to-date charting notes, and manage patient care/attendance
• Communicate with claims specialists, lawyers, and other health professionals accordingly
• Travel to gym partner locations to meet patients (need reliable access to a vehicle)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or equivalent
• Registration with the BC Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) is required
• Professional Liability Insurance & Valid CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
• Two years experience in case-management and active rehabilitation of ICBC claims an asset
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and sound clinical reasoning skills
• Knowledge and understanding of active rehabilitation and evidence-based treatment planning and interventions for physical rehabilitation
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing demands and schedules
• Experience using software such as JaneApp and Physiotec an asset
• Experience with pelvic floor exercises an asset

• Weekdays
• Saturday availability an asset
