Cuddy Farms is seeking an individual who is ready to grow their career in the Poultry industry. We are searching for a qualified and ambitious individual to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent position who will report directly to the Director of Finance.
Essential job functions:
- Performs all Accounts Payable duties
- Assists with month end procedures, including journal entry posting, reconciliations, and sub ledger maintenance
- Provides administration support to accounting and other departments as required
- Greets visitors in person or by phone in a courteous, professional manner
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 2 year College diploma with business courses preferred
- 5+ years of experience with accounting procedures relating to Accounts Payable functions and month end close cycles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook applications
- Process oriented, with a high level of analytical and organization skills and great attention to detail skills
- Experience with reception and administrative duties
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
