FULL-TIME RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE
We are searching for a dynamic, outgoing, creative individual to join our team in the beautiful, new Serendipity Soy Candles store in Downtown Oakville (302B Lakeshore Rd E). We offer a competitive wage, benefits, staff discounts and on-site training and opportunity for growth.
Approximately 30-40 hours per week
Responsibilities include
– SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
– Greet, welcome and provide customers with excellent customer service skills by sharing the Serendipity experience
– Assist with the growth of the company through sales and connections
– Assistance in managing Social Media and creative postings
– Operate POS system and process credit/debit payments, balancing cash daily
– Maintain a clean shop environment and orderly checkout area
– Stock and merchandise shelves when products arrive
– Conduct in-store candle making workshops and custom candle pours
– Report local marketing opportunities for the store
– Good communication skills and ability to read and write in English
– Able to work under minimal supervision and have attention to detail
– Able to lift up to 20lbs
– Able to work individually and be a team player
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
