Finance Team Lead
RTS Companies Inc., located in the Waterloo Region, is an established manufacturing and distribution company of commercial and consumer products with diversified markets. We have been under the same ownership for over 20 years serving Fortune 500 retailers. RTS is currently seeking a full-time Finance Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day aspects of the accounting function. This position will be working onsite at our St. Clements office.

Be part of a company where you will:
- Provide mentorship and coaching to the finance team members;
- Conduct account reconciliation and in-depth analysis;
- Conduct day-to-day accounting transactions;
- Prepare financial reports; monthly, quarterly, annual and as requested;
- Participate in year-end audits and reporting;
- Provide input on internal control improvements, process improvements, and participate in continuous improvement projects;
- Conduct job cost accounting and analysis, including managing price lists and quotes;
- Assist with HR and payroll-related functions;
- Support with special projects, analysis and reporting.
Consider our team if you have:
- A minimum two years’ accounting experience;
- A degree or diploma in accounting, business or related field;
- Strong accounting knowledge and skills obtained through experience;
- Excellent computer skills; Excel, ERP software, etc.;
- Ability to contribute as a business partner and team member across all functions of the business.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly; ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills and resilience to adapt quickly to change.
