SUMMARY
A Labourer is involved in a variety of job scopes assisting ticketed tradesmen. This work may exist indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.
Location: CNRL Horizon – Fort McMurray, AB
Anticipated Start Date: 2023-02-02
Shift: 14&7
Accommodation: Camp available
Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary
Hourly Rate: $36.67 (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)
JOB DUTIES
- Comply with PSC and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Assisting tradesmen in completing daily duties
- Sorting and selecting tools, as requested by journeymen
- Acting as fire/spark watch for welders
- General Clean-Up
- Load and unload materials as required
- Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
- May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working on an industrial site is considered an asset, but not required
- Warehouse and Material Handling experience is preferred
- CSTS-09 or CSO, or BSO
- OSSA Fire Watch is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment
