Rockhard Excavating is a fast growing company with a positive, team orientated atmosphere that specializes in residential and commercial Civil Construction projects. We are well established in the Okanagan and have been operating for 10+ years.
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Civil Construction Pipe Layer to join our team for a full time permanent position.
This is a diverse position that includes both working independently and in crews for various types of commercial and residential excavation projects.
Requirements:
-2+ years experience in the Civil Construction Industry
-Experienced with running excavators, skid steers, loaders and packers
-Ability to work along side the Foreman and lead the crew to efficiently install deep underground utilities(Sanitary/Storm/Water) mainline and services, Shallow utilities(Shaw, Tel, Electrical ducts), build roads/parking lots and complete foundation excavations
-Ability to work both independently and in a crew
-Ability to lead and train Skilled Labourers
-Experience with Topcon GPS & Pocket 3D an asset
-Ability to read and interpret civil and foundation drawings is an asset but not required
-Knowledge of MMCD specifications an asset
-A valid drivers license and own vehicle
Wages range from $28.00-$35.00 per hour and are negotiable based on experience level.
