Our Collingwood office is currently seeking a Bookkeeper, reporting to the firm’s partners. This role is ideal for someone who has deep personal and professional accountability, has a passion for excellence, and is driven to reach their full potential. Dedicated team players with a strong work ethic will be considered for increased responsibilities and personal growth.
Start Date: Immediate
Wage: $50,000 (Some flexibility based on the level of experience)
Baker Tilly supports progressive labour policies, including:
Responsibilities for this position include:
· Maintain the bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, primarily using Quickbooks online as well as several other common bookkeeping software.
· Produce month-end financial statements and other reports as required by the client
· Prepare payroll runs and remittances for the client
· Prepare and file sales tax reports for the client
· Answer questions posed by the clients related to their bookkeeping
· Assist management with the onboarding of new clients to ensure seamless integration into our systems and workflow
