Title: Accounting Coordinator

The Accounting Coordinator is reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for assisting the finance team with their day-to-day functions. This includes but not limited to: accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general accounting duties. Duties:

• First and foremost embrace our core values: teamwork, mutual trust and effective communication.
• Accounts Payable including: process vendor invoices, check requests and expense reports, reconcile invoice discrepancies, monthly reconciliation
• Accounts Receivable; including day to day accounts receivable transactions, prepare invoices, bills and bank deposits, process incoming payments, maintain customer files and record, research and resolve payments and account reconciliation
• Accounting- reconcile balance sheet/PnL , reconcile bank statements and G/L, enter and post journal entries, prepare consignment sales reporting, prepare commission statements, assist with month end closing, prepare ad hoc reports
• Payroll- maintain employee records, input all payroll changes, calculate bonuses and commissions
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

• 1-3 years’ experience AP/AR or general accounting duties
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and strong mathematical skills
• Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Completed University/Colleague Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment.
• Professional and positive attitude, team player, quick learner with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Component Control – Quantum considered an asset, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $51,436.00-$56,000.00 per year
