This position supports the Connect Care: Non-Medical devices project. One of the critical readiness activities for Connect Care involves completing something called Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR). Before launch, all computers and their peripherals such as e-signature pads and printers must pass a series of tests to ensure launch readiness. The TDR Fixer role resolves, and/or coordinates the resolution of, test failures of the many computers and related devices that wil be used for Connect Care. Limited out-of-town travel is required; most of the work is done remotely. Partnering with other IT support teams, the fixer promptly responds to both electronically logged problems and direct requests for help from testers. The fixer must have an in-depth understanding of workstations’ functions, the test cases required for each workstation, and the appropriate resolution channel. The TDR fixer is truly a “hub”, working with other fixers, a large team of testers, a coordinator and a PM to direct problems with configuration/build, hardware, printing, consumables to the appropriate resolution team. This requires outstanding communication and problem-solving skills as well as considerable technical savvy.
As an IT Customer Support I, you will provide the first level of technical support for clinical and non-clinical staff and departments. Your typical duties include receiving and handling initial helpdesk requests for IT support; responding to common requests for support as well as participating in the set up and maintenance of computer software, hardware and systems.

Additional Required Qualifications:
This position is required to configure the Epic platform.
