Job Description:

As the patient’s first point of contact, the Medical Office Assistant provides good and polite communication and interactions with patients, while being able to work in a fast pace work environment. They should be able to operate computers and answer calls, in order to book appointments, schedule and arrange patient visits, scan and link documents to patients’ records. In addition, they should be able to maintain a good work relationship with physician and other co-workers. MOA also have the responsible to maintain patient confidentiality. They should be able to do other necessary office administrative work pertaining to a physician’s office work profile.

Education: High school diploma (minimum)

Work Experience: Have worked in other physician’s office with mininimum of 2 yrs work experience. Experience with use of Electronic Medical Records i.e. Wolf or other EMRs.

When employed will be trained on how to use CHR-EMR

Part-time hours: 3pm – 7pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
